A return of the fantasy football LJ update!

Today I face Fresno's team, Valley Fever. This will be a much tougher matchup than last week.

At QB, I like Marc Bulger. Even in a horrible team performance last week he still scored decent fantasy points. I don't know about Carson Palmer. I don't get to watch the Bengals much (though I will today! Go Bengals!). The Vikings D is improved, but is it good? That remains to be seen.

At receiver, I'm nowhere near as good as I was last year. The only plus is that any Bruce TDs count double for me. Also, if Palmer throws any TDs to Houshmandzadeh, they pretty much balance out. So that could be good.

At running back, I like my chances. McAllister and Barber should be a good duo for me this year. I have Willie Parker on my bench as well. Reports are saying that he might get to keep his starting job even when the other Steeler backs get healthy. So, I might have a good backup guy. I don't know. Strider's had Domanick Davis who was awesome for me last year. The other guy I've never heard of, but I see that he is a Cardinal so hopefully that means he sucks.

TE, I don't know. Witten totally sucked last week, but maybe he'll get some catches this week.

Kicker, Akers missed to 49 yard field goals last week, costing me 8 points (since Strider put in a really weird FG scoring system).

Defense, I like my matchup this week. Buffalo should be decent for me this year. However, the Eagles are facing the horrible 49ers, so it might be a good day for Strider as well.

The Lions face the bears in Chicago. I hope they don't suffer a letdown. I think that they should focus on running the ball and make sure they get a coupe touchdowns. It isn't going to take a lot of scoring to win this game for either team, I think.

Strider's got a tough lineup this week, with his 2nd receiver not able to do anything since his team's sucking, his 3rd receiver being on a mediocre passing team against New England, and his star RB playing against Pittsburgh. However, with Carson Palmer doing great, this could be pretty close.

You've got a pretty nice line-up. Reggie Wayne's probably not going to do much, as the Jag's D is doing pretty good against Manning. But Houzamdjsfsdfsd has a TD, right? And Bruce is going against Arizona's D. Bulger should have a good game, too.

The Lions are sucking big time against Chicago. It's all incomplete passes for Harrington. Now the Bears have run a punt back for a TD.

Lions are getting manhandled, 23-6. I'm also getting my ass kicked. I wonder how the race is going...

Yeah, so much for Detroit lighting up the scoreboard, eh?

If I had started Chicago's D in my college league, I would be over 100 points, just with my QB, one WR, my defense, and my kicker. My second WR's playing, but Burleson only has 1 point. I think I may have to trade him...or drop him. Daunte's sucking again.

Yeah. That's why I try not to get excited over one win. I know I can count on them to play horribly the next week. At least they can't possibly lose next week.

Don't give up yet. You've got a lot of firepower left.

It's looking like my two backs and TE are going to have to combine for more than 50 points tomorrow night.

I love Houshmandzadeh. One of the best names in sports. I should have drafted him.
